NZ Sommelier of Year Prizes 2026

New Zealand Sommeliers and Wine Professionals are delighted to announce the prizes for our 2026 competition winners.

New Zealand Sommelier of the Year 2026 is invited to attend:

New Zealand Winegrowers Sommit™ in Waitaki, January 2027 & Sauvignon New Zealand February, 2027

Leading International Sommeliers will meet at Sommit™ Masterclasses with our NZ champion sommelier included in the group.

In addition, this group of sommeliers will attend  Sauvignon New Zealand in Marlborough; a celebration of collaboration, creativity and the iconic global reputation of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc in Marlborough, February 2027

This provides a unique opportunity for our leading New Zealand Sommelier to participate in New Zealand Winegrowers Flagship Events.
