NZSWP Annual Membership

Joining our organisation is a great way to network with fellow wine professionals and enthusiasts, furthering the knowledge of wine and New Zealand's profile on the world stage.

Our Professional Members are at the core of our Association. They will primarily be engaged in customer service roles involving wine and beverage sales across the hospitality, tourism and wine business sectors. Professional Members will benefit from the opportunities for professional development and engagement within our community through education, tastings, competitions and events.

Associate Members are for people who are not directly working within the sectors of hospitality, tourism, wine or wine and beverage education but have a sincere and genuine interest in supporting the association.

For organisations and business looking to support the work of the New Zealand Sommelier and Wine Professionals Association, there are three organisation membership partner options:

Our Partner Members are businesses who wish to foster and support the goals of the Association. As a not-for-profit association, our Partner Members play a vital, underpinning role that enables us to conduct training, tastings, competitions and events to further professionalism in New Zealand’s hospitality, tourism and wine sectors and align our wine and beverage hospitality standards with those of the world.

Associate

Associate memberships are for people who are not directly working within the sectors of hospitality, tourism, wine or wine and beverage education but have a sincere and genuine interest in supporting the association. No voting rights.

Professional

Professional memberships are for those working with wine and beverages within the sectors of hospitality, tourism, wine retail and distribution or wine and beverage education.

Professional Members will be encouraged to participate in and assist at tastings, events and education programmes run by NZSWP.

One vote per member.

Foundation Partner

Foundation Partner membership is ideal for small-medium wineries or distributors of wine, other beverages, spirits and beer as well as individual restaurants and hotels.

This membership entitles you to:

One Full Professional membership for your company’s main contact (valued at $75)
One Additional Membership (valued at $75)
Events Calendar: two events listed free of charge with a link to your event page (valued at $105 per listing with a total value of $210)
Partner’s logo on NZSWP website + Partners details listed on Partner Profile Page (Valued at $250) enabling you to promote your brand
Newsletters and regular email updates
Invitations to industry updates and networking functions
Invitations to seminars and masterclasses

Package value: $610: Cost to member $500 = 18% discount

Corporate Partner

Corporate Partner membership is beneficial for medium-size wineries, distributors of wine, other beverages, spirits and beer as well as restaurant groups and hotels.

This entitles you to:

One Full Professional membership for your company’s main contact (valued at $75)
One Additional Membership (valued at $75)
Events Calendar Listing: two events listed free of charge with link to your event page and event created on NZSWP Facebook profile and shared to members (valued at $105 per listing with a total value of $210)
Partner’s logo on NZSWP home page + Partners details listed on Partner Profile Page (Valued at $250) enabling you to promote your brand.
Your table to promote 4 – 6 of your wines or other hospitality related products at the NZ Sommeliers and Wine Professionals Annual Wine Tasting and Awards Day and one ticket for the Awards Dinner. In 2019, this will be held on Sunday 28 July at the NZ School of Food and Wine in Auckland (valued at $850)

Premier Partner membership is ideal for large wineries and international brands, distributors of wine, other beverages, spirits and beer, as well as restaurant and hotel groups.

This entitles you to:

Two Full Professional membership (valued at $150)
One Associate Membership (valued at $75)
Events Calendar Listing: 8 events listed free of charge with link to your event page and event created on NZSWP Facebook profile and shared to members (valued at $105 per listing with a total value of $840)
Partner’s logo on NZSWP home page + Partners details listed on Partner Profile Page (Valued at $250) enabling you to promote your brand
Your advertisement with website link placed free of charge for 90 days (valued at $300)
