In November 2020, New Zealand Sommeliers and Wine Professionals gained full membership of ASI Association of Sommeliers International and with this access to this important and influential international network.
With travel limited, the ASI General Assembly was an online-zoom event. Celia Hay represented the New Zealand Sommeliers and Wine Professionals.
The General Assembly was held over three days and included on the agenda topics such as national competitions, the development of sommelier training grids for which Celia has be working on within the ASI Education Sub Committee, diversity and more...
